Advocate (advokát)
A lawyer registered with the Czech Bar Association who may represent clients before the courts and provide legal services.
In Czechia the protected profession that can represent clients in court and provide legal services for a fee is the advocate (advokát), registered with the Czech Bar Association (Česká advokátní komora).
Only registered advocates can call themselves advokát, must carry professional liability insurance, and are bound by the Bar's code of conduct.
